A forgiving and well-balanced ride, with amazing performance at the top and bottom end speeds. The Sonar Freeride Edition holds lift through gybes and tacks without stalling, allows easy breach recovery and lets you step up your foil game with ease.

Anhedral Wing profile and swept back outline allows for a more agile flight mode and roll stability during manoeuvres. Optimized low drag foil section allows for thrilling top end speeds combined with unseen low stall speed.

The 85cm Mast allows you to heel over more, fly the kite lower and further power up the foil system for a more controlled high-speed ride.

The Sonar Foil System can be mounted to any foil board with a 165x90mm bolt pattern.

SONAR 1150 WING

FREERIDE | SURF | WAKE. Loose and carvy feeling with an early takeoff so you are up and riding sooner. Freeride or wakefoil with confidence on this stable foil with easy progression. Effortless performance and speed in the bottom end of wind range.

SONAR 40 MAST

Our 40cm School mast, for those first-time feels, is an ultra-forgiving mast suitable for “skimming” just above the water and easy recovery.

SONAR 85 MAST

The 85cm Mast is ideal for freeride foiling and increases overall ride performance in choppy conditions. This Mast length allows you to heel over more, fly the kite lower and further power up the foil system for a more controlled high-speed ride.

SONAR S01 STABILIZER COMPOSITE

Our dihedral-shaped rear Stabilizer provides control and riding comfort, allowing fast pivoting turns and easy recovery from surface-breaching.

SONAR FUSELAGE

Hydrodynamically-optimized shape for minimum resistance, precisely CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aeronautical-grade anodised aluminium with structurally engineered connection details that are designed to last. GeoLock transfers the load from the fuselage into the mast more efficiently.
